Skiing fans and winter athletes will definitely get their money's worth in our region. The bus, which stops only ca. 120 m from the ZillerLodge, will take you to the Spieljoch ski area in only 10 min.
Whether you're a skier, ski tourer, cross-country skier, or snowboarder – we are the perfect starting point for a diverse day in the snow. We issue ski passes directly at the hotel. We also have a private storage room for skis and a boot heater.

The first ski area in Zillertal offers easy, straightforward slopes and is quickly and easily reachable by ski bus or car in only a few minutes from the ZillerLodge. This area is exceptionally family and children-friendly. The Spieljoch ski area is perfect for beginners and skiing fans who prefer easy slopes, safety, and laid-back skiing enjoyment. From the valley station, a mountain road with great views leads into the Hochfügen ski area, which you can also reach comfortably by ski bus.

Kaltenbach Hochzillertal – Hochfügen ski area
The Hochzillertal ski area is one of the best ski areas in the entire Alpine region. 38 modern lifts bring winter athletes to elevations as high as 2,500 m. 76 km of diverse slopes rated from blue to black are awaiting you in Kaltenbach and Hochfügen.

Reachable on skis from the HochLeger chalets via the Aschau valley run, and from there you can take the ski bus to Kaltenbach, then return on skis.
Zillertal Arena
The largest ski area in Zillertal encompasses Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Königsleiten, and Gerlosplatte. The Zillertal Arena has a total of 51 lifts and 139 km of the best prepared slopes for beginners and advanced skiers.
